Dr. Arijit Bardhan Roy has nearly 10 years of Research and teaching experience in the area of solar cell design and fabrication. Till today he has published 12 numbers of SCI and Scopus indexed papers and three patents. He has extensively worked on the design, fabrication, and characterization of different PV devices based on Si, a-Si and ZnO, InP and GaAs. Dr.A.B.Roy has well versed in device processing steps such as wafer cleaning, rapid thermal annealing, oxidation, diffusion, PECVD, RIE, metallization etc. He has extensively worked with PECVD systems for depositing silicon nitride, silicon oxide, silicon oxynitride, and amorphous silicon. Dr. Roy has initiated preliminary research for realizing ultra-thin (~3-50µm), flexible monocrystalline silicon solar cell. This is the Nation’s first flexible c-Si solar cell. Now he is working as Assistant Professor under the department of ECE at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur,Tamil Nadu-603203, India
